Last week when the priest and his assistant came to my house they gave me a book called Spiritual Warfare Prayers. I think it’s important for anyone who either believes in the reality of spiritual warfare or is in the process of questioning its authenticity to familiarize themselves with the various prayers available that cover everything from breaking generational curses to binding evil spirits. I’ve decided that I’m going to start spending more time on this topic and in each post that is dedicated to spiritual warfare prayers I’m going to include a prayer taken directly from the book that I mentioned above.
Spiritual Warfare Prayers Destroy Evil
The reason I started cutting back on my Demonic Affliction posts was because I felt that I was either “freaking out” some people or irritating others because they come on this blog solely for the purpose of reading about the Rosary and Our Lady. Well, unfortunately demonic affliction is a reality of our world and as strange as this may sound, it is every bit connected to the Rosary and Our Lady in the sense that it is the strongest and most dangerous force on our planet. Aside from other forms of prayer (such as specific spiritual warfare prayers) and intercession of great saints such as Padre Pio, the praying of the Holy Rosary and intercession of Our Lady has the powerful spiritual capability of destroying evil and stomping out the Devil’s influence over souls.
Spiritual Warfare Prayers For My House and Pets
(For those of you who may have missed reading my last post, please refer to it before you proceed any further with this one; this one may not make much sense unless you have already read Demonic Oppression – (2).)
Father G. had warned me that the evil force in my house and around me could quite conceivably end up targeting my pets. I knew that to be true because of strange incidents that took place over the last two and a half years that involved my cats and dog. But I was in no way prepared for what ended up happening a few days ago. And if any of you are wondering why I haven’t been writing as much this week, well, this is why: my dog has now become a target and I have all I can do every day just to tend to him and still balance the other areas of my life. I’m behind in my work, emails and of course – my blog posts.
Brinkley (my dog) has been so distraught this week that I was sure he had ticks. On Tuesday I made an emergency appointment to see the vet because he was itching so much and so intensely that I was convinced he needed immediate treatment. I was actually bracing myself for what I figured would be a long scolding session by the vet as she reprimanded me for not using flea and tick prevention. But as it turned out, not only did Brinkley not have fleas or ticks, the vet told me that he looked good and was in better shape than most of the dogs she examines. So, I left with a prescription for Benadryl which the vet told me would help with the itching and make him sleep. But I was dumbfounded as to what could possibly be wrong, and then I remembered what Father G. had said.
The poor dog has been pacing nervously, whining and drinking a ton of water but refusing to eat. He jumps up from wherever he’s sitting and runs over to another spot on the floor and then quickly turns around to check the floor, as if he thinks something is following him. He’s been hiding in places he never goes, ignoring his chew bones which he typically loves, staring at spots of nothingness and then jerking his head as if to follow with his eyes whatever it is that he thinks he sees. He is so not himself and today I found myself crying as he refused a second meal in a row.
Tonight I will be saying some spiritual warfare prayers from that book I mentioned in the hopes that my dog will at least be able to sleep through the night. Last night I prayed the Litany of the Saints and tonight I am going to say this prayer:
Spiritual Warfare Prayers – Breaking Curses
Breaking Curses
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I rebuke all spells, hexes, curses, voodoo practices, witchcraft, satanic rituals, incantations, evil wishes, and fasting prayers (not of the Lord) that have been sent my way, or have passed down the generational bloodline. I take authority over all of them and command that they go back where they came from and be replaced with a blessing.
I ask forgiveness for and denounce all negative inner vows that I have made and ask you, Lord Jesus, to release me from any bondage they may have held in me. I claim Your shed blood over all aspects of my life and relationships, and ask You to wash away and cleanse me from all impurities, in Your name, Lord Jesus Christ.
Why Should Everyone Be Saying Spiritual Warfare Prayers?
Spiritual warfare prayers should not be viewed as a limited prayer type to be said only by those who are being pestered by demonic forces or have had encounters with evil. Rather, these prayers are intended for use by all God-fearing individuals who are seeking the kingdom of Heaven and a virtuous, holy path toward salvation.
I am currently in the process of studying the strange phenomenon that exists in our modern-day society (especially in the U.S.A.) whereby the idea of the Devil or the presence of true evil is perceived as somewhat of a medieval myth or a Halloween type of fantasy that isn’t real, never was and never will be. I don’t mean to suggest that all people feel this way; thank God that isn’t the case. But I am continually baffled at people’s resistance to grasping one of the oldest biblical truths and turning a deaf ear or pretending that it really isn’t so important in the grand scheme of things. After all, we are all so busy! Who has time to be bogged down with silly thoughts of devils and demons and angels fighting battles?! And that “busy” excuse is just one of the reasons we are starved as a society for the protection that spiritual warfare prayers have the power to provide. Complacency and disinterest or the misconception that we can survive just fine humming along at our own imperfect and weak artificial pace is a recipe for spiritual disaster. Anyone who believes that they don’t need spiritual warfare prayers in their lives is either in complete denial or is so immersed in self-gratification and ego-based agenda that they are blind to the call of their souls which is a call that comes directly from the Almighty God.
I pray for all those afflicted with demonic issues and I will continue to post spiritual warfare prayers in upcoming posts. Please remember that the Devil is not hiding behind every bush, but that he is real and ever-present, wreaking havoc on the world, especially now, in these latter times, as he knows his time is fleeting.

Hello, my name is Margo. When I was 23 years old and working as a part-time nanny in New York City I had the pleasure of caring for a little 5-year-old boy named Alexander. One day I had been overcome with sadness and in a weak moment, I found myself confiding to this little boy about a friend I couldn't find because he was lost. Alexander, quickly responded without missing a beat, “Follow a trail!” [

A pleasant good day to you….I’ve been reading your articles and I would like to say that they are very interesting…I have a question…can someone pray for someone else to be released from bondage?….If “yes” can you tell me how to go about doing this?….
@Marsha – Hi Marsha – Yes, you most certainly can pray for someone else to be released from bondage. I have found myself in a situation not so long ago where I desperately prayed for this certain person in my life to be released from bondage and it was absolutely incredible to see the transformation take place over the course of a year. I prayed the Rosary every day, visited the Blessed Sacrament as many times a week as I could and offered up my Mass and Holy Communion every week for this person. Not only does he appear to have abandoned his former life of sinful behavior, but he is like a brand new person in so many refreshing ways! If you would like to send me an email I’d be happy to go into more detail about this, as well as give you additional insights and examples of how I’ve seen the Rosary work miracles in my life. Thank you for stopping by.
Hi! A great book to read that describes our daily struggles with satan would be “The Deceiver” by Father Livio Fanzaga! You will want to read it several times as it is very relevant to our current times and offers ammunition and hope in our fight. Satan is very real and active, and we don’t even realize it many times for what it is. I pray the Rosary and was delighted when i found your site. God Bless you.

Margo, I am sorry to hear of your dog. I can relate as well. I have been under demonic oppression in a very bad way for the past couple of years. I have had a constant extreme fatigue and dizzy spells. Also the tipping sensation you mentioned in Demonic Oppression-2 and I have haunting type actions and literally see the demons daily. I even went through mental evaluations to make sure I wasnt crazy! I was not found to have any type of mental illness at all. I lost my cat and my fish. Which was probably a retaliation as well. Please email me at elenad025@hotmail.com. I hope to hear from you soon…hang in there!
