In this entry from May 4th I mentioned that from now on I will be posting people’s weekly prayer requests on Sundays. Today there is one request and also something extra that I want to include in the form of a post from Nanette, another blogger who speaks the truth and writes from her heart. Nanette has a blog called The Crooked Halo and yesterday she wrote a post titled Impure Blasphemy Against Our Lady of Guadalupe! which outlines a shocking situation involving a digital portrait of Our Lady of Guadalupe wearing a bikini and held up in the air by a topless woman-angel. Please take the time to read Nanette’s post and say a prayer for all those involved in this horrific display of blasphemy.
Below is the prayer request I received from a person named Yvonne. Please keep Yvonne and her family in your prayers and feel free to leave comments specifically for Yvonne, as I’m sure she will be reading this post.
Prayer Request from Yvonne:
Please pray for my two teenage sons ages 16 and 14. My 16 yr old has had 2 strokes and they repaired a hole in his heart. We’re hoping that the surgery he had will stop the strokes. He also suffers from anxiety and is on medication. Please pray that God will calm him and he won’t have this anymore. My 14 yr old is displaying anxiety as well. Misses school because he thinks he has the flu. The doctor is running tests to rule out any stomach issues and he has an appt to see a psychologist. If it’s psychological we’re praying that God will heal his anxiety as well. Thank you and God Bless!

One day I had been overcome with sadness and in a weak moment, I found myself confiding to this little boy about a friend I couldn't find because he was lost. Alexander, quickly responded without missing a beat, “Follow a trail!” [

Thanks, Margo, for passing along the info on the blasphemy of our BVM. I appreciate it and ask all who read this to, please, e-protest to show their indignation. Will keep all the prayer requests you receive in my prayers. Poor little darlin’s who suffer from anxiety…this should be a fun-filled, joyful time in both boys lives! Too many young folk are suffering depression and such. May God hold them to His loving heart. Hugs, N
