The following is an article by the National Catholic Register that provides more detail and insight into this recent turn of events with Father Corapi; it’s copied and pasted below. The article hit the news circuit last night and to my knowledge is the most recent Father Corapi news update. Please feel free to leave comments and/or submit any new information that may have come out since this article. Father Corapi’s Bombshell
The popular speaker announces plans to leave the priesthood amid an investigation into allegations of misconduct, and his religious superior breaks his silence on the investigation. A Register news analysis. by JOAN FRAWLEY DESMOND 06/19/2011
Father John Corapi, the popular Catholic evangelist, announced on June 17 that he would leave the priesthood and begin a new endeavor outside Church control — called “Black Sheep Dog” — focused on a “broader” message … [Read More...]
This past Thursday I posted what I thought (at least at the time) was some Father Corapi news that would possibly be of interest. I included a recent comment from a reader that was addressed to Father Corapi, a statement from Santa Cruz Media and a link to These Stone Walls which is a blog that is owned by a priest by the name of Rev. Gordon MacRae who is serving time in the New Hampshire State Prison for crimes of which he was falsely accused. Father MacRae mentions Father Corapi in his recent post and I felt that it was worth including in my post.
Had I known on Thursday what would be hitting the blogosphere on Friday (yesterday), I suppose I wouldn’t have posted anything until I had a chance to read, listen to and fully absorb Father Corapi’s special public announcement which I read late last night, posted on his new website called The Black SheepDog. … [Read More...]
Back in March I wrote a post titled Father Corapi Update and days later I followed up with another one. I wasn’t really sure what to call this post, as it’s sort of a blend of a few things. So I figured I’d just title it Father Corapi Update – (3) because in terms of readers’ comments, there certainly is an update every day; an update on the readers’ insights and sentiments with regard to Father Corapi and his unfortunate situation. I am so happy to see all of the love and support he has been receiving via the comments on this blog and I feel that I should post the most recent one that just came in yesterday from a woman named Mary. I’ve copied and pasted it below.
God bless you, Father Corapi. You are a real priest and a real man. I have watched you for over 5 years (and listened to your CD’s). I couldn’t … [Read More...]
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, prolifigates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people. For among them are those who make their way into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and swayed by various impulses, who will listen to anybody and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3: 1-7)
Times of Stress and Father Corapi’s Message
We don’t know if we are living in what Paul refers to as “the last days”, but we certainly can’t deny that these are times of stress. And it’s hard not to get the chills when you read the horrifying descriptions of the … [Read More...]
I was working on my next post when I received what I feel is an inconsiderate comment from a person who must’ve stumbled upon my blog via a search engine. The comment read:
what is that inappropriate Dress in Lolita ad doing on this website?
I suppose this is a good time to talk about why I have ads on my sidebar and clear up any confusion that may be causing some people to question my decision to run these ads.
First of all, for those of you who have been with me since the start of my blog last year I’m sure you remember the days when there were no ads. The blog does look a bit different now than it did in its early stages of development and I’m happy to say that it’s come a long way! Thank you to all the readers who have helped The Rosary Trail to become what I’d always hoped it would … [Read More...]
Last week’s True Devotion to Mary – (2) emphasized the necessity of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and why she was necessary to God in the Incarnation of the Word. This week’s post is a continuation of that topic and it emphasizes Mary’s necessity in the sanctification of souls. Everything written in burgundy font is quoted directly from Saint Louis De Montfort’s book True Devotion to Mary and my personal remarks and insights are in black font.
ARTICLE TWO: Mary Is Necessary to God in the Sanctification of Souls
22. The conduct which the Three Persons of the Most Holy Trinity have deigned to pursue in the Incarnation and the first coming of Jesus Christ, They still pursue daily, in an invisible manner, throughout the whole Church; and They will still pursue it even to the consummation of ages in the last coming of Jesus Christ.
23. God the Father made an assemblage of all the waters and He … [Read More...]

Yesterday, May 31st, was the Feast of the Visitation. Pope Benedict XVI closed the Marian month of May in the Vatican Gardens with a strong message of faith and courage. Please read the following article which I’ve copied and pasted from Catholic News Agency.
Vatican City, Jun 1, 2011 / 06:22 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- Pope Benedict XVI concluded a month of Marian celebrations with a procession and Rosary in the Vatican Gardens on May 31, the Feast of the Visitation. He offered the faithful a message about Mary’s fearless trust in God, for whom “nothing is impossible.”
“The one whom Elizabeth welcomes into her home is the Virgin who ‘has believed’ the Angel’s annunciation, who responded with faith, courageously accepting God’s plan for her life and thus embracing within herself the eternal Word of the Most High,” he said.
The procession traveled from the Church of St. Stephen of the Abyssinians to the grotto dedicated to Our Lady … [Read More...]
Last week I wrote True Devotion to Mary and this is a continuation of what I hope to be a series of posts that will bring to light the truths and prophecies of Saint Louis De Montfort. If you happen to have missed reading last week’s post I strongly encourage your doing so before you skip to this one. There is a sort of order of things in De Montfort’s writing that will make more sense if read in the correct sequence. And as I said in my last post, everything written in burgundy font is quoted directly from his book
; my personal remarks and insights are in black font.
True Devotion to Mary – CHAPTER ONE
Necessity of the Blessed Virgin And of Devotion to Her

There have been some new comments posted on Father Corapi’s situation and I have also recently received a couple of YouTube videos (also from the readers) that I’d like to share with you. There is so much input from the readers these days in the form of comments, emails, videos and other materials that I feel as though it would be doing a huge injustice to everyone to not include an entry now and then that focuses on that input.
As I was putting ideas together for this post, it occurred to me that every single scenario, whether it be readers’ comments or prayer requests or videos, is wrapped around the praying of the Holy Rosary. I wonder if the Rosary is perhaps the center of all truths and the reason that there is so much conflict in the world is because there aren’t enough people praying the Rosary? Our Lady has continually asked that people pray the Rosary … [Read More...]
