Diabolic Infestation – (2)

It’s been a while since I’ve written a whole post on diabolic infestation.  I wrote this post back in August which was right before a Catholic priest came to my home to give it a house blessing.  Since that time, I’ve heard from several people who have found this blog and reached out to me, saying that they have had experiences with demonic affliction.

Besides sharing my recent experiences with you, I’d first like to show you a sample of some of the private emails and public comments I’ve received through the months.  I’m of course not going to expose identities, but I will take a part of each email and/or comment and copy and paste it so that you can read a little bit about other people’s experiences and situations.  I’ve color-coded them; a different color for each person:

“I discovered the Rosary as a result of some strange events which I experienced. I began hearing some Noises from nowhere waking me up at the same time every night 3 am. I began feeling a physical oppression  as if something was squeezing my heart.  It took me from January 2010 to last week of constant prayer to stop this situation. The presence in my house manifested itself as an  energy which was draining me physically and gaining strength . At first I began reciting prayers of self liberation by father Amorth and each time I had some strong reaction as if my all body was being taken by an intense force. I then replaced the liberation prayers and started to recite the Rosary as the ultimate instrument to fight any evil force.”

“Having worked in churches for almost 18 yrs. I know a bit about the dark side. I have stories I rarely speak about.”

“…Ive had odd occurences in our new apt….I swore i see a tall dark like figure appear then dissove….Ive seen orbs a few times….Id awake to see a dark fig or man in his room and scream loud many times….I think now in my new place. well been eager to have this house bless by a catholic priest….Ive seen shadows here as well…”

“I found out very quickly that the evil one hates Our Lady, nor can it say Her Name. “I stumbled upon your blog researching demonic infestation. I have some weird things happening in my current rental…strange animal noises Sounds and smells and my animals are acting strange as well.”

“I’ve had atleast 2 House Blessings done by a Priest as well as Exorcism Prayers said by a lay person done where I live and still the problem goes on. I’ve learned from my Pastor that the House Blessings do include Exorcism Prayers as well which I didn’t know for sure. Diabolic Infestation Should Not Be Sensationalized

I have had a new wave of disturbing occurrences in my home over the last few weeks; they had seemed to subside for a while but have now started up again.  Before I go any further into this, however, I just want to take a moment to say that the reason I am not writing as many posts on this topic as I probably could and should is because I don’t want to sensationalize it.  This topic of diabolic infestation (and other topics related to it) is something that could potentially cause a person to become overly obsessed with the “drama” of it, thereby failing to pursue the necessary spiritual means of warding it off.  In other words, a person could become so entangled with the bizarre situations, circumstances and events caused by diabolic infestation, that he/she forgets to focus on what really matters: seeking the intervention of Saint Michael and praying the Holy Rosary for spiritual protection.

Since I started this blog last spring, I have come across a multitude of people who seem to be enchanted by this topic, but at the same time are either completely ignoring God’s role in this, or are oblivious to it.  Either way, the point needs to be made that these disturbing occurrences are not caused by a “friendly ghost” or a “good angel” or a “playful spirit”, as some people would’ve had me believe regarding the situation in my own life; a number of people have suggested to me that perhaps what I am experiencing is not of an evil nature.  Please!  Then why do these occurrences always choose to “act up” during the times when I am most trying to concentrate on prayer or writing an article on this blog that would have the capacity to promote the greater good?  If this entity is of a good nature, the last thing it would want to do is offend the Lord by distracting a person (me) from my prayers and my attempts to promote peace and goodness in the world via my blog.  It causes me anxiety, and creating anxiety in a person is not something a “good angel” would even be capable of.

Diabolic Infestation: Personal Updates

A few weeks ago I started experiencing strange things in my home again, the worst of which were the sounds coming from my bedroom closet and a certain wall in my office room.  The other day I awoke to the sounds of two distinct “thuds”, one after another, that seemed to be coming from my bedroom closet.  At first I dismissed the sounds as something I imagined in my semi-conscious state of just waking up.  But then when I was lying in bed, minutes later I heard another “thud” that seemed to be coming from the corner of my room where the closet meets the wall.  Then a few minutes later I heard another “thud” coming from inside the wall where my head was lying on the pillow.  The following night (or two nights later, I can’t recall) I heard that same “thud” as I was getting ready to go to sleep, only that time it was coming from my office room.  And the next day when I was on my computer I heard it again.

The other night I was in my bedroom saying the Rosary, when all of a sudden in the bathroom next to my bedroom I heard this weird shaking/rattling sound.  It started only minutes into my prayer, and then I heard it again a few minutes after that.  I got up twice to try to find the source of the sound and then it occurred to me that I was allowing myself to be distracted from the Rosary, which is probably exactly what “it” wanted!

My dog has started looking up at the front of my house and snarling again.  He does this when I have him in the back seat of my car and am backing out of the driveway.  He always looks at the same spot (a few feet over the garage door and to the left) and stares, and makes this low whine, snarl or growling noise; sometimes he’s quiet, just fixating on something.

I’ve had these sort of things happen over the past couple of weeks:

- furnace shut off on its own, twice (on our coldest day yet this winter)

- dog’s stuffed animal toy found in a standing position on the floor

- picture on living room shelf knocked over, laying flat on the shelf

- towel falling from oven handle as soon as I turned my back

- computer mouse moved to a different spot than where it always sits

Some of this stuff seems silly, doesn’t it?  I should add that my cats are never around when these things occur.  And since they sleep in the basement at night, there is no way they can get into anything in the rest of the house, such as my computer mouse.  This is the second time it’s ended up shoved way under my monitor in the morning, when I first turn on my computer; not to mention the upside down mouse pad incident which I’ve already linked to in the second sentence of this post.  I am one of the “luckier” ones, compared to other people who have far worse things going on around them.  But it really isn’t about the types of things that happen; it’s more about the fact that they are happening.

My friend, Chris, has had some awful things going on inside his house since he moved in last April.  He has reason to believe that there may have been some perverse sexual behavior taking place there before he moved in.  (I won’t elaborate.)  I told him that it’s possible the spirit attached to that behavior is still lingering there.  He’s has far worse things happening to him in his house than I’ve had to endure in mine.  Here are some of his issues:

- infestation of flies

- knives standing with the blades up

- keys being misplaced

- carbon monoxide detector malfunctioning and then working again

- peripheral vision images and movement in mirrors

- noises in the attic that did not turn out to be animals

- severe chills in his bed and the inability to get warm which lasted for 15 – 20 minutes

I could write a whole other blog post on Chris’ experiences.  The point is – things are happening all around us.  People are talking, sharing experiences, reaching out for some sort of spiritual help.  The world is growing darker and the demons are taking full advantage of this end game while they are still able to “prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.”  So what do we do about it?
