Prayer of Entrusting the Church to Mary, Mother of God

I’m sure by now all of you are aware that President Obama’s health care reform law is forcing Catholic universities, hospitals, and charities to provide insurance for their employees covering contraception, in spite of the fact that it is in direct violation of the Church’s teachings.  You can read about it here.

I found this prayer that entrusts the Church to Mary and I thought that this would be the perfect time to post it.  Part of the problem with the way the world is going is that there are too many complacent people just sitting back and allowing things to happen rather than standing for something, and speaking up against injustice and wrongdoing.  And even if you don’t have the gift of speech, you certainly have the gift of prayer.  Jesus told us that if man has faith the size of a mustard seed he can move mountains.  Anyway, here’s the prayer:

Spiritual War

Whether we like it or not, we are in a spiritual war right now and the state of affairs is disastrous.  I read an article today on a blog that I follow and I honestly thought I was seeing things.  Please check out this article from The Crooked Halo and take action against this atrocity.  (Apparently there is a so-called “art” exhibit that is showing a man performing oral sex on Jesus.)  I’ll let you read the article for yourself.  I am horrified and outraged and it’s time we all did something about this because complacency just doesn’t cut it anymore.

The ongoing war in the Middle East is bad enough, but the spiritual war that is plaguing humanity is at an unprecedented level of disaster, and it’s only going to get worse.  We have to keep remembering that there are all sorts of subtle tactics that the enemy, Satan, uses in his efforts to destroy souls.  I’ve said over … [Read More...]

Hatred of the World

As you regular readers are rapidly finding out, I am not the least bit afraid of exposing the truth for what it is, and that includes the force that is behind this hatred of the world.  What on Earth is going on these days?  Are people just going crazy and losing their minds or is there something sinister taking place beneath the surface that is beyond our control?  Those of you who are finding out where I stand on this matter probably already know what I’m about to say; the Devil is behind all of it.
