A couple of weeks ago I received an email from someone who has been dealing with some sort of demonic harassment in her home that is targeting the whole family. At her request I promised to block her identity and the identity of the people and places that she referenced in the email. Other than those minor changes, below is the copied and pasted email from this person exactly as she wrote it (including the title.) She was very happy to know that it was to be posted on this blog and has asked for our prayers.
Strange and disturbing occurances at home
Greetings, I fell upon your site when I Googled “Miracles of the Rosary” today. I began to read your blog by clicking on the Popular Posts section and I came across your article Demonic Oppression. My family and I (mostly me) have had the worst case of ongoing spiritual warfare in our homes…yes homes, plural MORE than … [Read More...]

The Spiritual Dangers of Metal Music
Father Esper mentions an Italian psychiatrist named Dr. Simone Morabito who equates “Satanic rock music” to a slow-acting, highly effective poison. And Dr. Morabito goes on to say that according to the psychiatrists’ medical journal, in recent years there have been 5,000 young people in the United States who have committed suicide. Dr. Morabito is convinced that one of the main causes of these suicides is “satanic rock music that promotes the taking of one’s life.”
Besides the self-destructive lyrics found in certain songs, there is another kind of danger attached to heavy metal music which involves the extreme volume (110 decibels or more) of the music, combined with stroboscopic lights and the used of drugs or alcohol which can, because of the excessive stimulation of the … [Read More...]

More Spiritual Insights on the Harry Potter Phenomenon
Clare McGrath Merkle was a New Age “healer” and advanced yoga practitioner who has since returned to the Catholic faith. Father Esper quotes her in his book:
Many of the delightfully described magical arts in the Harry Potter series were pretty standard fare in training courses I mastered to some degree or another, including telepathy, divination, energy-work, necromancy, geomancy and time-travel, to name but a few. . . A close reading of one of the books in the series, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. . . by the eyes of a former occultist like myself, reveals her [Rowling's] more than cursory familiarity with the occult. (Clare McGrath Merkle, “Harry Potter and the Lost Generations.” www.crossveil.org/potter.html.)
Father Esper goes on to point out another writer’s words with regard … [Read More...]

I’m reading a book called Spiritual Dangers of the 21st Century by Rev. Joseph M. Esper. Father Esper has appeared on Women of Grace, which is hosted by Johnnette Benkovic and airs on the EWTN network. In fact, it was on that program where I first heard him promoting Spiritual Dangers of the 21st Century.
In this book, Father Esper has dedicated a whole chapter to the ways in which the young people of our nation are – to quote directly from his book - “growing up in the most spiritually and morally dangerous era in human history.” Since for obvious reasons I cannot quote the whole chapter in this post, I thought I’d instead provide a condensed version sort of outline as to the major highlights of the chapter, along with Father Esper’s examples of how the youth are being spiritually assaulted and his suggestions as to what can be done about this alarming situation that, … [Read More...]

A while ago I wrote a post called Spiritual Warfare Prayers – (2) and it was a follow-up to Spiritual Warfare Prayers. Spiritual Warfare Prayers
is a book I’ve talked about before, and yesterday I found a prayer in there that I decided to say. Out loud. In front of the Sacred Heart picture that hangs on my wall in my bedroom. Can you believe I was almost nervous about saying the prayer because I didn’t want to instigate the whatever-it-is-entity that seems to have infused itself into every nook and cranny of this house! I was actually finding myself distressed about the fact that there would possibly be some sort of spiritual blowback because the whatever-it-is-entity would hear me. And then I thought: This is pathetic. I’m actually stressing out about praying out loud?? To God?? Enough.
Binding Evil Spirits and Moving On
I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t live in this house anymore … [Read More...]

I was watching Women of Grace the other night which airs on the EWTN network and is hosted by Johnnette Benkovic. She and her guests were discussing some morally adverse issues facing young girls and parents of young girls in today’s world. Much of the discussion was wrapped around the topic of sexualization and pornification of women, starting with little girls as young as three years old and even younger.
The show reminded me of a post I’d written a year ago about the breakdown of the family and the alarming state of decline society is sinking into as it allows and even promotes the pedophilia chic concept to take root in our culture, like a weed in an unattended garden. Why isn’t there more being done about this blatant danger? We scream and rage for more child protection laws and services, and yet the sexualization of children – girls and boys – that can be witnessed around the globe … [Read More...]

In my last post called Spiritual Warfare – (1) I spoke of my meeting with the exorcist priest and his assistant who came to my house on December 22nd. Please refer to that post if you haven’t already because otherwise none of this will make much sense. Also, I may happen to repeat some things in this post that I’ve already said in the last one, so please bear with me if I do.
Spiritual Warfare and the Enthronement to the Sacred Heart
Father and Jim were at my house for well over three hours. Not only did Father say a Mass, but he also performed the ceremony which is called the Enthronement to the Sacred Heart of Jesus which you can read about on this website. There are also several other websites and sources which explain what this ceremony is and how it is performed in one’s home.
I’m skipping around a bit here, but I just wanted … [Read More...]

Spiritual warfare is an invisible, yet very real and active form of war that is continually taking place in our world, involving the battle between good and evil. I’ll get into that more later on, but for now I want to start this entry by saying that I’m sorry that it’s taken me so long to write it. And as it is, I won’t be able to complete the whole thing today, so I’ll just called this post Spiritual Warfare – (1), and go on from there.
Spiritual Warfare Situation
As most of you probably know by now, last week an exorcist came to my house and I promised an update afterward. I hadn’t anticipated it taking me this long, but with Christmas weekend and family and company in town, along with dealing with some adverse *side effects* of the priest’s visit, I had all I could do just to get enough rest and keep up with my daily responsibilities.… [Read More...]

I am looking forward to the priest’s visit tomorrow and hoping that he is able to rid my house of the evil spirits once and for all. Not really sure what to expect, but am confident that he will be able to bring about some positive change around here. He will be the fourth priest to come to my house since December 2009. The first two times a priest came it was to do a house blessing. The last time, which was this past June, I had a Mass said in my house by a priest from the Charismatic Renewal ministry. You can read about it here.
Evil Spirits and People’s Doubts
It’s interesting to me how many people are resistant to believing in the presence of evil spirits in a person’s personal space. It’s not as if they don’t believe that evil exists or that CERTAIN people are targeted and spiritually attacked by an evil being. But for … [Read More...]

The Pennsylvania exorcist priest is coming to my house on Thursday. As you may recall my saying in a previous post, he’d gotten into a really bad car accident a few months ago and therefore, wasn’t able to plan a trip. In fact, his accident occurred only a day or so after he’d made up his mind to come to my house the following week. Anyway, he’s coming on Thursday and I’m hopeful that I’ll finally be turning a corner and getting some peace in my home.
I haven’t written much about the demonic affliction issues lately because I’m trying not to give the topic more attention than is absolutely necessary. I welcome your comments, questions, feedback – whatever – but lately it’s been difficult for me to actually sit down and write a whole post about it. I still have stuff going on, and sometimes I don’t feel like talking about it; other times I do.
Also, I’ve been … [Read More...]
