Last week when the priest and his assistant came to my house they gave me a book called Spiritual Warfare Prayers
. I think it’s important for anyone who either believes in the reality of spiritual warfare or is in the process of questioning its authenticity to familiarize themselves with the various prayers available that cover everything from breaking generational curses to binding evil spirits. I’ve decided that I’m going to start spending more time on this topic and in each post that is dedicated to spiritual warfare prayers I’m going to include a prayer taken directly from the book that I mentioned above.
Spiritual Warfare Prayers Destroy Evil
The reason I started cutting back on my Demonic Affliction posts was because I felt that I was either “freaking out” some people or irritating others because they come on this blog solely for the purpose of reading about the Rosary and Our Lady. Well, unfortunately demonic affliction is a reality … [Read More...]
It’s been a while since I’ve written a post on demonic oppression or any of the other topics concerning demonic affliction. If you haven’t already read the other posts that lead up to this one and/or if you are a new reader of this blog I suggest that you read the older ones before you go on to read this one; they can all be found on the sidebar in the Categories section under the title of Demonic Affliction. This post may not make any sense to you or it may be confusing unless you are already familiar with a situation I’ve been struggling with for nearly two and a half years now.
Demonic Oppression and the Healing Mass
I had been under the impression that my house was infested with some sort of evil spirit and that a Healing Mass would rid my space of anything malicious and that is not of God. Well, the Mass was said this … [Read More...]
One of the readers of this blog has just sent me something very special in the form of a YouTube video that I’d like to share with you and you’ll find it at the bottom of this post. The reader’s email says:
St. Joseph’s Communication put this wonderful video together of support and love for Father John Corapi. Hope you can view it and share it. It’s tender and powerful!
Many of the comments on this blog that appear under the Father John Corapi posts are specifically addressed to Father Corapi. I am touched by all of the heartfelt sentiment behind the words and am continually reminded that also behind the words is a person who matters. If Father Corapi has read any or all of these comments, I am convinced without a doubt that they have affected him deeply and that whatever he ultimately decides to do, it will not be done without the consideration of the many voices … [Read More...]
This is the fourth in a series of posts titled True Devotion to Mary which I started in a hopeful effort to promote the prophetic message of Saint Louis De Montfort in his book titled True Devotion to Mary. Please refer back to this post which will link you back to the previous ones.
Also, please note that everything written in burgundy font is quoted directly from Saint Louis De Montfort’s book and my personal remarks and insights are in black font.
ARTICLE TWO: Mary Is Necessary to God in the Sanctification of Souls
29. God the Father wishes to have children by Mary til the consummation of the world; and He speaks to her these words: “Dwell in Jacob” (Ecclus. 24:13); that is to say: Make your dwelling and residence in My predestined children, prefigured by Jacob, and not in the reprobate children of the devil, prefigured by Esau.
30. Just as in the natural and corporal … [Read More...]
The following is an article by the National Catholic Register that provides more detail and insight into this recent turn of events with Father Corapi; it’s copied and pasted below. The article hit the news circuit last night and to my knowledge is the most recent Father Corapi news update. Please feel free to leave comments and/or submit any new information that may have come out since this article. If you would prefer reading the article directly from the National Catholic Register, please click here.
Father Corapi’s Bombshell
The popular speaker announces plans to leave the priesthood amid an investigation into allegations of misconduct, and his religious superior breaks his silence on the investigation. A Register news analysis. by JOAN FRAWLEY DESMOND 06/19/2011
Father John Corapi, the popular Catholic evangelist, announced on June 17 that he would leave the priesthood and begin a new endeavor outside Church control — called “Black Sheep Dog” — focused on a “broader” message … [Read More...]
This past Thursday I posted what I thought (at least at the time) was some Father Corapi news that would possibly be of interest. I included a recent comment from a reader that was addressed to Father Corapi, a statement from Santa Cruz Media and a link to These Stone Walls which is a blog that is owned by a priest by the name of Rev. Gordon MacRae who is serving time in the New Hampshire State Prison for crimes of which he was falsely accused. Father MacRae mentions Father Corapi in his recent post and I felt that it was worth including in my post.
Had I known on Thursday what would be hitting the blogosphere on Friday (yesterday), I suppose I wouldn’t have posted anything until I had a chance to read, listen to and fully absorb Father Corapi’s special public announcement which I read late last night, posted on his new website called The Black SheepDog. … [Read More...]
Back in March I wrote a post titled Father Corapi Update and days later I followed up with another one. I wasn’t really sure what to call this post, as it’s sort of a blend of a few things. So I figured I’d just title it Father Corapi Update – (3) because in terms of readers’ comments, there certainly is an update every day; an update on the readers’ insights and sentiments with regard to Father Corapi and his unfortunate situation. I am so happy to see all of the love and support he has been receiving via the comments on this blog and I feel that I should post the most recent one that just came in yesterday from a woman named Mary. I’ve copied and pasted it below.
God bless you, Father Corapi. You are a real priest and a real man. I have watched you for over 5 years (and listened to your CD’s). I couldn’t … [Read More...]
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, prolifigates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people. For among them are those who make their way into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and swayed by various impulses, who will listen to anybody and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3: 1-7)
Times of Stress and Father Corapi’s Message
We don’t know if we are living in what Paul refers to as “the last days”, but we certainly can’t deny that these are times of stress. And it’s hard not to get the chills when you read the horrifying descriptions of the … [Read More...]
I was working on my next post when I received what I feel is an inconsiderate comment from a person who must’ve stumbled upon my blog via a search engine. The comment read:
what is that inappropriate Dress in Lolita ad doing on this website?
I suppose this is a good time to talk about why I have ads on my sidebar and clear up any confusion that may be causing some people to question my decision to run these ads.
First of all, for those of you who have been with me since the start of my blog last year I’m sure you remember the days when there were no ads. The blog does look a bit different now than it did in its early stages of development and I’m happy to say that it’s come a long way! Thank you to all the readers who have helped The Rosary Trail to become what I’d always hoped it would … [Read More...]
Last week’s True Devotion to Mary – (2) emphasized the necessity of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and why she was necessary to God in the Incarnation of the Word. This week’s post is a continuation of that topic and it emphasizes Mary’s necessity in the sanctification of souls. Everything written in burgundy font is quoted directly from Saint Louis De Montfort’s book True Devotion to Mary and my personal remarks and insights are in black font.
ARTICLE TWO: Mary Is Necessary to God in the Sanctification of Souls
22. The conduct which the Three Persons of the Most Holy Trinity have deigned to pursue in the Incarnation and the first coming of Jesus Christ, They still pursue daily, in an invisible manner, throughout the whole Church; and They will still pursue it even to the consummation of ages in the last coming of Jesus Christ.
23. God the Father made an assemblage of all the waters and He … [Read More...]
