A priest is coming to my home at some point over the next week or so because he believes that it’s possible that my house has become a target of diabolic infestation. As I’ve indicated in my previous post, I’ve had a disturbing presence in my house ever since I started praying the Holy Rosary and made the decision to turn my life around. The first strange incident occurred way back in the early winter of 2009 when I started praying the Rosary sporadically. Then there was nothing for a while. But the real onset of these incidents started in November of 2009 when I made the decision to dedicate myself to not only praying the daily Rosary, but also ridding my life of all situations, people and things that are not connected to morality and holiness.
It felt like a great weight had been lifted when, months ago, I heard Father John Corapi in a speech about … [Read More...]

UPDATE: March 18, 2013 – Due to recent comment abuse I have had to remove some inappropriate comments and turn off the comments on this post. If you would like to submit a prayer request you may feel free to submit it to me via email by accessing the Contact Me page. Please keep in mind that this website was created to spread devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Holy Rosary, and prayer requests that are submitted should reflect that point. I apologize to those of you whose intentions are pure and holy, and I encourage you to continue sharing your stories and submitting your requests for people to read and include in their prayers. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

What does vice mean and how does it relate to the Holy Rosary? Vice is a serious moral weakness that can lead to wickedness and corruption. It can manifest itself in many ways and it is highly toxic to the soul. Our Lady speaks of it in one of her Fifteen Promises of the Rosary when she indicates that reciting the Rosary will destroy vice.
One form of vice is sexual immorality. In this day and time where Satan is having his last hurrah, sexual immorality and perversity of many forms is an unfortunate reality in our society. Though much of it is hidden from the mainstream, still there is a deplorable degree of it constantly being shoved in our faces either by way of TV, Internet or other forms of modern day media. I think the kind of vice that disturbs me the most is the kind that wears a disguise. We see it all over the place … [Read More...]

Idolization can be dangerous, especially when it’s directed toward something that pulls us away from God. It creates a false sense of dependency and places an irrational and unnatural emphasis on the person, place or thing that is being idolized.
When we abandon our trust in the Lord and instead allow our attention to be directed toward someone or something else, we are in a sense opening ourselves up to the Devil because we are turning from God. It’s not as if we do this intentionally or for the purpose of dismissing God. But by the mere act of deciding that someone or something else is so deserving of our admiration, time and attention to the extent that it takes away from our worship of the Lord, then it stands to reason that our grip on reality will be loosened; that in turn causes unhealthy distractions and abnormal hero worship.
Idolization Is Unhealthy and Abnormal
It is mentioned throughout … [Read More...]
When I first had the idea to create this blog I wanted to spread the message about the Holy Rosary and invite others to join me in sharing thoughts and experiences related to it. I wanted this to be an interactive blog which would enable others to be as much a part of it as I am. I feel that the more I pray the Rosary and the more I learn about its many powers and how they can work wonders in a person’s life, the more I realize how little I still know and how much more there is to discover. I guess what I’m trying to say is that by becoming dedicated to the Holy Rosary through the Blessed Virgin Mary, I find the need to decrease so that others may increase. I feel this need to spread the message that by being totally devoted to the Holy Rosary, such as the kind of devotion that Saint … [Read More...]

The Saint Michael Prayer is something I’ve started saying every night before I go to sleep. Who is Saint Michael? He is one of the three archangels who are mentioned by name in the Bible; the other two being Saint Raphael and Saint Gabriel.
Saint Michael is known as the leader of the angelic army who fights against Satan and his armies of demons, and he is also known as the defender of the Church. His name in Hebrew means “Who is like God?” and he is often shown in drawings and paintings wearing armor and in the act of slaying the great Dragon of the Apocalypse (Satan) in the Book of Revelation:
“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, … [Read More...]

With the emergence of the Internet and the strides we have taken in our advancement of technology, it occurs to me that maybe we have entered the era of technology abuse because we are allowing technology to replace God. It seems to me that we have actually lost, not gained, something along the way. As a society, we have become so adept at embracing anything connected to technological newness that we are failing to remember that God is in charge, not us. We seem to have forgotten why we are here in the first place and how all this knowledge and the inclination to advance ourselves is even possible.
Unfortunately, God is slowing being replaced by electronic worship. This technology abuse is causing spiritual disconnect and is providing a breeding ground for Satan, who thrives on anything that pulls us away from God. Satan is real and active in our world today. He uses the most advanced and sophisticated … [Read More...]

When Satan manages to infest his victim with his poisons, the victim unknowingly becomes a slave to sin. This isn’t something that necessarily happens overnight; it can be gradual and drawn-out over time. In fact, it can happen in the unlikeliest of circumstances and even be initiated by a person who has absolutely no idea that he/she is being used as a pawn in a malicious game of chess.
Satan is crafty. He is highly intelligent and uses subtle tactics while he’s targeting his victims. He wants us to believe that he’s non-existent, and so his best strategies are the ones he sneaks in through the back door, so to speak. Satan is real, and he doesn’t need to stand before someone in horns and a tail in order to prove it. What purpose would that serve, anyway? Instead, he uses a person’s most vulnerable areas and preys on his/her weaknesses and insecurities.
A previous article I wrote involves … [Read More...]

Sometimes I have a conversation with God when I don’t even realize it. I mean, I have been talking to myself all of my life. My parents tell me that as early as the age of two I would have whole conversations with myself in my crib. But as the years pass, it occurs to me more and more that when I am talking to myself the one I’m really talking to is God. I’ve always felt the need to express myself verbally when I’m alone and I read somewhere that not only is it mentally healthy to talk to yourself, but it is also a good way to start a conversation with God, even if you’re not yet sure that He exists.
On that note, I would like to share another excerpt from my ongoing diary project. This is an example of a time in my life when I was confused and unsure of where I was going … [Read More...]

Unfortunately, the Devil is real. He is not a figment of the imagination, a Medieval myth or a costume character that comes out on Halloween with horns and a tail. In fact, he was the most beautiful of all of God’s angels. But he rebelled against God and throughout all of history has caused sin to infiltrate the world through his ugliness and lies.
How do I know that the Devil is real? Because I’ve had the misfortune of bumping into him one too many times. I’ve known of his existence for as long as I can remember. I had started a diary – a sort of memoir – and I posted my first entry on this blog. Then I realized that I just kind of left its ending dangling with no sense of what happened next; so a few weeks later I posted my second entry. Both entries had to do with a malicious presence in my life when I was only two or three years old. And unfortunately, that presence has never gone away.
After rediscovering the Rosary last … [Read More...]
